Dr.
Wilhite is a Professor in the Guggenheim School of Aerospace Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dr. Wilhite is also the principal Georgia Tech faculty member at the
National Institute of Aerospace. He leads a research program focused in the
field of systems analysis, with primary emphasis on developing life-cycle
systems analysis and risk methodologies for advanced aerospace system
architectures. He is responsible for graduate level instruction in the areas of space systems design,
and space systems analysis. Prior to coming to Georgia Tech,
Dr. Wilhite
held the position of Eminent Scholar in Systems Engineering and Simulation
at the University of Alabama, Huntsville. He served as the Director of the
Independent Program Assessment Office and Director of the Systems Management
Office at NASA Langley. He received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from
North Carolina State University, an M.S. in Flight Systems from George
Washington University, and a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from North
Carolina State University.
