The Guggenheim School of Aeropsace Engineering requires that students who earn a MS
degree complete at least 33 credit hours of course work beyond that of a
bachelors degree. Those earning a PhD are required to earn 50 credits beyond
their bachelors degree. The specifics of these requirements can be found in

The following is an example of the classes typically taken by an SSDL
student in their first two years.
While Georgia tech offers some courses in the summer semester, most SSDL
graduate students opt for summer employment in the space industry.
